Ocean to City Currach Race 4th June 2005 The maiden voyage of the Newgrange Currach took place on the 4th June 2005 in a 15 mile sea currach race in Cork. While we didn't win the race we had a great weekend and to our delight the currach perfomed well in the sea swell.
